It is with great pleasure that arvato systems North America announces the successful and on schedule launch of the TaylorMade Golf / adidas Golf / Ashworth Golf eCommerce stores; a 3 brand store and cart sharing solution for all the golf related brands in the adidas group.

arvato systems was the primary implementation and consulting partner selected for this engagement to integrate the Hybris platform into the business flows of the golf brands of adidas.

Some Highlights of this project include:

  • Cart sharing across the 3 brands allowing for cross brand marketing
  • Connection to payment provider, tax integration tools, backend order management systems and financial reporting systems.
  • Consolidation of product data from the 3 brands and providing structured product enrichment to enhance product data maintenance.

This new platform allows the adidas group to market their brands on a single platform, greatly reducing the cost of ownership and allowing them to focus on showcase there brands, athletes and products. The new online store will immediately highlight the company's offering for the holiday season in apparel, footwear and accessories. The site features thousands of items and will continue to add to its selection.

Within just three months, arvato systems has implemented a new and powerful eCommerce platform for adidas Canada, based on the successful solution developed and launched for adidas Europe. arvato systems North America was responsible for enhancing and customizing the platform to fit the unique requirements and processes of the Canadian market.

New features include online bank transfer in addition to the existing credit card payment method as well as tools like a tax calculator, address check, multi-language capability and the connection to the adidas Canada ERP system, amongst others. The new site meets the goals of providing an interactive portal for consumers, serving rich content and showcasing brands, athletes and events. Initial results are exciting with the platform driving revenue and gross margin improvements while also convert single-channel shoppers into multi-channel shoppers.

The new global brand website for Reebok.com went live in 15 countries worldwide. With this major release, arvato systems played the leading role in developing the new "digital-commerce" platform.
